Wayward Witch by Zoraida Córdova
Rose Mortiz has always been a fixer, but lately she’s been feeling lost. She has brand new powers that she doesn’t understand, and her family is still trying to figure out how to function in the wake of her amnesiac father’s return home. Then, on the night of her Death Day party, Rose discovers her father’s memory loss has been a lie.
As she rushes to his side, the two are ambushed and pulled through a portal to the land of Adas, a fairy realm hidden in the Caribbean Sea. There Rose is forced to work with a group of others to save Adas. Soon, she begins to discover the scope of her powers, the troubling truth about her father’s past, and the sacrifices he made to save her sisters. But if Rose wants to return home so that she can repair her broken family, she must figure out how to heal Adas first.
Infused with Latin American tradition—the Brooklyn Brujas series follows three sisters—and witches--as they develop their powers and battle magic in their hometown and worlds beyond.

Thank the Deos for Maks, her sweet, steady boyfriend who sees the beauty within her and brings light to her life. Then a bus crash turns Lula's world upside down. Her classmates are all dead, including Maks. But Lula was born to heal, to fix. She can bring Maks back, even if it means seeking help from her sisters and defying Death herself. But magic that defies the laws of the deos is dangerous. Unpredictable. And when the dust settles, Maks isn't the only one who's been brought back…
The highly acclaimed Latinx-infused Queer fantasy from Zoraida Córdova following three sisters—and teen witches—as they develop their powers and battle magic through epic questing and in realms beyond.
Alex is a bruja and the most powerful witch in her family. But she's hated magic ever since it made her father disappear into thin air. So while most girls celebrate their Quinceañera, Alex prepares for Death Day—the most important day in a bruja's life and her only opportunity to rid herself of magic.
But the curse she performs during the ceremony backfires, and her family vanishes, forcing Alex to absorb all of the magic from her family line. Left alone, Alex seeks help from Nova, a brujo with ambitions of his own.
To get her family back they must travel to Los Lagos, a land in-between, as dark as Limbo and as strange as Wonderland. And while she's there, what she discovers about herself, her powers, and her family, will change everything…
From the author of Incendiary and the Brooklyn Brujas series, a long-lost heir of the mermaid Sea Court must fight for his life, and his humanity, as he's suddenly caught in a race for a throne that is as ancient as the gods.
One crashing wave and Tristan Hart was gone for three days. Sucked out to sea in a tidal wave and spit back ashore at Coney Island with no memory of what happened. Now his dreams are haunted by a terrifying silver mermaid with razor-sharp teeth.
His best friend Layla is convinced something is wrong. But how can he explain he can sense emotions like never before? How can he explain he's the heir to a kingdom he never knew existed? That he's suddenly a pawn in a battle as ancient as the gods?
Something happened to him in those three days. He was claimed by the sea…and now it wants him back.
The Ocean is a Vicious Place...
Deeper and darker than Tristan could have imagined. Beneath its calm blue surface, an ancient battle is churning—and no one is safe.
In the quest for the Sea Throne, Tristan has already watched one good friend die. Now he must lead the rest on a dangerous voyage in search of the trident that will make him king. But while Tristan chases his destiny, the dark forces racing against him are getting stronger, and the sea witch of his nightmares is getting closer.
Battling sea dragons and savage creatures of the deep, Tristan needs his friends' support. But they each have their secrets, and a betrayal will force Tristan to choose between his crown and his best friend Layla—the only girl he's ever loved.
The thrilling conclusion to this epic fantasy trilogy, the Sea Court is in all-out war to claim the throne, and Tristan's most trusted friend just became his fiercest rival. This clash of sand and sea will pit brother against brother—and there can only be one victor.
Two days. That's all the time Tristan Hart has to prevent all-out war. Since discovering he was part merman and heir to the Sea Throne, Tristan has been fighting for his future, his friends—his life.
Now to win the crown and save the girl he loves, Tristan will have to take the ultimate risk: unleash the ancient magic of Poseidon and release the kraken. Seriously. It's the only way to unite the three scattered pieces of the king's trident and stop the sea witch Nieve from taking the throne for herself.
Tristan's going to need all the help he can get. But the one person he could always depend on has betrayed him—Kurt now wants the throne for himself. Brother against brother—it's a brutal race to the finish, and there can only be one winner.
