Sourcebooks Virtual Events Code of Conduct
Sourcebooks is dedicated to providing a friendly, professional, safe, and welcoming environment for our authors, participants, and all attendees at its events, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, body type, appearance, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), national origin, or other protected class. By attending, you agree to abide by these policies.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind and expect that all Sourcebooks virtual meeting and event participants and speakers will help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.
As a book publisher, Sourcebooks is a firm defender of freedom of expression. It is not a violation of our Code of Conduct to express an opinion, raise facts or describe an experience that is at odds with the opinions of others, provided that expression is part of a discussion of the subject at hand and is offered in a respectful manner that does not willfully offend or personally attack others.
Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:
Report harassment and disruptive behaviors to Sourcebooks staff at marketing@sourcebooks.com.
Consequences of misconduct may include immediate removal from meeting or event without warning, removal of comments or posts, reporting of violating accounts, and restrictions from future Sourcebooks meetings and events. Sourcebooks reserves the right to further action against individuals or groups violating this Code of Conduct.

- Real or implied threat of professional or financial damage or harm.
- Inappropriate disruption of meetings or events.
- Photographing, video or audio recording of slides, oral or poster presentations without presenter/author’s permission.
- Violating the rules and regulations of the online platform.
