ABOUT DEBORAH LYTTON
Deborah Lytton is the author of five published novels for children and young adults, including the recently released Ruby Starr series from Sourcebooks Jabberwocky. Deborah's experience as a professional actor and attorney is evident in her presentations to large or small groups of readers and authors. Her resume of acting credits includes portraying Melissa Anderson on the daytime soap opera Days of our Lives and guest starring in numerous television series including Mod Squad, Family, The Waltons, and The Incredible Hulk. Deborah is educated as an attorney, having graduated cum laude from both U.C.L.A., where she received a B.A., and from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she received a J.D.
Deborah's programs involve sharing her journey to becoming an author and reading from her works as well as teaching students about how an idea becomes a published book. She also has a program that engages children with improvisational exercises designed to help them use their imaginations. Deborah's programs encourage the love of reading and the sharing of ideas for students of all ages.
