Jessie Janowitz grew up in New York City and still lives there with her family.
She started making up stories before she was old enough to write them down. She still has one that she dictated to her mother. It’s basically Star Wars but takes place on a planet called Denkofa. Eventually, she came up with more original material. Her debut middle grade novel THE DOUGHNUT FIX, released April 3, 2018, is not at all like Star Wars, but there are doughnuts. Jessie is available to speak on growing up, entrepreneurship, food, and community. You can visit her online at jessiejanowitz.com |
Amy Thomas is a New York–based writer who, for two lucky years, got to call Paris home. In addition to working as a copywriter in advertising, she writes about food, travel, design, and fashion for various publications such as the New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Town & Country, and Every Day with Rachael Ray. She is slightly obsessed with sweets. Amy is available to speak on food, travel, love, and identity. You can find Amy online at godiloveparis.blogspot.com
