ABOUT CHRISTINA COLLINSChristina Collins is the author of the middle grade novel After Zero, inspired partly by her adolescent struggle with selective mutism. She earned her PhD in creative writing from Queen’s University Belfast and her MFA in creative writing from George Mason University, and has taught at both universities. Her Pushcart Prize-nominated short fiction and poetry have appeared in more than a dozen publications, including Jabberwock Review and NonBinary Review.
