• Love Is Love by Michael Genhart and illustrated by Ken Min is a silver medalist in the Picture Book—All Ages Category
• What Does It Mean to Be American? by Rana DiOrio and Elad Yoran and illustrated by Nina Mata is a gold medalist in the Non-Fiction—Picture Book Category

The Last 8 by Laura Pohl is a 2019 International Latino Book Award Winner

Laura was originally announced as a finalist in the Best Young Adult Fiction Books –English Category in June, and has won!
 
The 2019 International Latino Book Awards are sponsored by Latino Literacy Now. They are the largest Latino cultural awards in the U.S. The awards recognize books by and about Latinos, and strive to honor the growing quality of Latino literature. Judges include “librarians, educators, media professionals, leaders of national organizations, Pulitzer Prize Winners, and even elected officials.”

The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane by Julia Nobel is nominated for the Silver Birch Fiction Award

The Silver Birch Fiction Award is sponsored by the Ontario Library Association, and belongs to their Forest of Reading, Canada’s largest recreational reading program intended to encourage a love of reading across all ages. More than 270k readers annually participate in schools and public libraries across Canada to vote, and the winners are chosen by readers rather than a judging committee. The Silver Birch Fiction Award is awarded for English fiction books for grades 3-6 and ages 8-12.

Shadow Weaver by MarcyKate Connolly and The 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton are 2020 Sakura Medal Award Nominees

The Sakura Medal is a reading program carried out in more than 17 international schools in Japan, sponsored by school librarians. It is designed to encourage reading in students, and each year thousands of international school students read books in English and Japanese from shortlists prepared by librarians, teacher-librarians, teachers, and students in participating schools. The winner is voted on in April by students.
