Chris Bauerle has been promoted to Vice President, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sourcebooks. He was previously Director of Sales and Marketing and recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary with the Midwest-based publisher. “Chris has successfully guided the transition of our publicity and marketing departments into one powerhouse group this year,” said Dominique Raccah, Publisher and CEO. “He’s built an extraordinary team. And we’re all excited about the future that we’re creating for our authors and retail partners.” “Chris has been a key driver behind the consistent, double-digit annual sales growth at Sourcebooks for the last decade,” said Barb Briel, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. “He has brought a new level of engagement and accountability to the entire organization.” Bauerle joined Sourcebooks as part of its 2008 acquisition of Cumberland House Publishing, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He also worked as Vice President, Mass Market Sales at B&H Publishing Group.
