lord of illusion
Thank you so much to everyone who has participated in the Elven Realm Book Blogger Hop over the past week! We are so thrilled with the turn out, and even more excited to take part in the celebration of all three of Kathryne’s Elven Lords books now in stores: The Fire Lord’s Lover, The Lady of the Storm and of course, The Lord of Illusion!

Kathryne prepared a special note to all of the readers and bloggers involved on the blogger hop:

I want to thank all the readers who participated in the blog hop, and journeyed with me through the seven realms of THE ELVEN LORDS! Good luck to all of you in the drawings, and I want you to know that I sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm for my books, and your loyal support. I had such a wonderful time reading your creative answers to the fantastic questions! Special thanks to go my blog hostesses: Lynda from Star-Crossed Romance, Grace from Books Like Breathing, Kim from SOS Alkathryne
oha, Martha from Martha’s Book Shelf, Angela at Royal Reviews, Debbie from Debbie’s Book Bag, and Blodeuedd from Book Girl of Mur-y-Castell. You all asked the most fun questions about magical settings and fantasy costumes and favorite jewels…I loved it, and I’m sure my readers did as well. Another sincere thank you to Sourcebooks CEO and publisher Dominique Raccah, for her generous support, and Casablanca Publicist Danielle, for brainstorming this brilliant hop, and making all the arrangements. And of course to Sourcebooks, who sponsored all of the prizes and give-a-ways during the hop. My writing may be a solitary endeavor, but it takes a community for me to continue to bring my stories to readers, and I am grateful for all of you!

And now—for the Grand Prize of the Elven Realm Book Blogger Hop: a $100 Gift Card to Barnes and Noble! Hmm, so many pretty choices. If I HAD to move out of my own pretty realm I'd live in Dewhame with all the pretty water.

Although I really like Firehame, I think I would choose to live in Dreamhame, because if I was from there and part-elf I would hope to be an elf that has a power connected with illusions.

I would love to travel through all of the elven courts, but if I had to settle in one I think I would chose Dewhame. I've always liked the thought of being able to control water, and the castle of Dewhame sounded beautiful (even if ruled by a mad sadistic jerk).

Hard choices but although I may change my mind as I get to read all the books, Firehame is still in my mind and Dominic's magical way with fire has totally enticed me.

While I would love the heat of Firehame, I think my choice of home would be Dewhame. I would love to be surrounded by all the beautiful water.

I would live in Stonehame. After my visit there I found I fell in love with the beauty of the land and it's people. Not to mention every one likes purple of some shade. My favorite color is purple so I believe that I would be very happy in Stonehame.

I like Bladehame. I like the silver and how the court memebers carry enchanted weapons and swords.

I really enjoyed this blog tour; it was great fun.

Thanks,

Not really sure which one I would pick. I would love to live in either one.. Sometimes fire is too much and sometimes water is.

Hello Everyone! It's great to be here today at my very own publisher's blog! It's bittersweet, as today is the last day of the hop, but I'm also excited for the winners to be announced!

Hi Mina! Great choice...the fountains would be spectacular!

Hi Amanda! I would love to have those pointed ears too. ;}

Hi Alyssa! LOL, what an accurate description of the elven lord.

Hi Catslady! Great to see you here today! Love hearing that Firehame enchanted you. :}

Hi Diana! I'm sensing a theme, here. :}

Hi Jean! It would be calm...if not for the elven lords. ;}

Hi Julianne! You would love the elven lady's amethyst castle!

Hi Tracey! So glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. All of you ladies made it really fun for me!

So great to see so many familiar names here!

It's a toss-up between Dewhame
and Firehame. I guess I would
choose Firehame. I'm thinking
of the black dragon and I am thinking of wearing my slinky, sequinned black gown to one of the balls! Now if the dragon could shift into a tux-garbed good looking fellow who would partner me at the ball! I'd be one happy camper!

I would choose Bladehame because it speaks to the crafter in me. I love to create and it seems the silver dragon of Bladehame spats molten metal that could be molded into fantastic creations.

Thanks for the fantastic taste of your world you've created through the blog hop. What a creative way to whet our appitites :-)

I would choose Verdanthame. I love plants and it sounds like a great place to live. My second choice would have been Dreamhame because of the illusions. Thanks for the tour, giveaways and writing these books to take us readers on an adventure.

How I would love to visit all the Eleven Realms - they each have their own special and thrilling qualities. If I must choose one above all, Verdanthame, blooming with all manner of plant life and flowers sounds the most harmonious and refreshing to the spirit with Dewhame a close second.

Thanks so much for the books and the giveaways.

Peace and love,
Amy, life long lover of SF & F in NYC.

It would be too hard to choose which one I would want to live in, it would be a hard choice between Stonehame, as I love gemstones and crystals, and keep collecting them, and Dewhame, because I love the water, I love swimming, practically grew up in the water and definitly learned to swim before I could walk, and i am also Pisces, so that helps. I also love Dreamhame tho as well, to be able to weave my own illusions, and all my dreams become reality would be awesome. But I think it would definitly come down to Stonehame and Dewhame for sure. I think I would just spend half a year in one and half a year in the other :-D

What a wondrous tour it's been escaping into all the worlds you've created Kathryne. But I'd choose Dehame for the sound and feel of the water. Being a Pisces may have something to do with it I suppose. :) I love the refreshing and cooling effect of water. Especially in mist and sprays of water. Thank you Kathryne and to the blog hosts for this great trip into your worlds. Good luck everyone.

I would love to live in the Dreamhame. It's all about illusion but all that also depends on the mood. I find that so interesting and would like to see how moods can influence my setting.
