About the Book

*What is your book about? Please provide a description.
Summer Lee travels to London to hire the Duke of Monchester to turn her into a lady. The last thing the duke expects is to love the girl just the way she is, but he refuses to fail his task. When Summer discovers there's more to the duke than his title, it upsets her carefully-laid plans. And when someone sets out to murder him, will she discover what she truly wants before it's too late?

*How long have you been at work on this book?
It took me about 12 months to write, including the research.

*How did the idea originate?
I loved the movie My Fair Lady but was really disappointed with the ending. So I took the concept and gave it a big twist. I had always loved the Victorian era, and the research was a pleasure for me.

*Did the book entail any unusual writing habits or places?
Not that I can think of.
