Pam Chun was born and raised in Hawaii,and graduated from Punahou and the University of California at Berkeley. A storyteller at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, she is a popular speaker on Chinese culture. Her first two novels, THE MONEY DRAGON and WHEN STRANGE GODS CALL, both won the Ka Palapala Po`okela Awards for excellence in literature. She currently resides in Alameda, California with her husband, Trans-pac sailor Fred Joyce III.
