What books are you currently reading?
I just finished The Help, which I enjoyed immensely. I am now reading Elizabeth Berg's Home Safe. Next on my nightstand is Rick Bragg's complete collection: It's All Over But the Shoutin', Ava's Man, and his latest, The Prince of Frogtown. I've already read the first two, but enjoyed them so much I am going to read them again.
What are your favorite books?
Anything by Elizabeth Berg The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck Sandra Kring's Carry Me Home and The Book of Bright Ideas And my new favorite: The Help
What books would you recommend to your readers?
All of the above along with my novels Roseflower Creek and Cold Rock River, which was a five-year labor of love.

Roseflower Creek, set in 1950's rural Georgia, follows the short life and death of ten-year-old Lori Jean, a sensitive dreamer of a child who longs for a normal family life.

How did the idea originate?
Roseflower Creek was inspired by an actual death penalty case in Athens, Georgia that took place in 1995.
