Holly Denham is the pen name for Bill Surie, the owner of a placement service for receptionists and secretaries in London. He started the Holly’s Inbox website as a place to serialize his first novel, and it became an overnight sensation. He lives in Maida Vale, England.
What is your book about? Please provide a description.
It is the second in the Holly's Inbox series, about a receptionist who falls in love and based on a website I started.
How long have you been at work on this book?
Six months or so.
How did the idea originate?
The idea for the site came initially when I had to lose someone from my company. Not wanting to read their emails myself (in case I discovered how much they hated me), I assigned our administrator the unenviable task of trawling through their deleted emails – in an attempt to establish what clients' accounts they were working on. However, after a week without hearing back from the administrator I began to suspect there was a problem. My administrator had become hooked on the consultant's deleted emails, all the gossip, romance, drama and scandal this person was involved in, had totally enthralled her.
So I thought I’d write a book.
