Spikes & Spurs is the brand new sexy cowboy story about feisty women who trade their spike heels for cowboy boots and power suits for tight fittin’ jeans but keep their whoop-ass independence. The sexy cowboys that swagger into their lives wear spurs and ten gallon hats and quickly figure out that taming a sassy woman is tougher than breaking a wild bronc.
Come on down to the Red River and start off with Love Drunk Cowboy. Meet Austin Lanier, a business exec who inherits a watermelon farm ... right across the street from Rye O'Donnell, the sexiest cowboy in the whole state.
Have a glass of watermelon wine and pick up the second book to find what kind of trouble Austin's friend, Pearl, gets into in Red's Hot Cowboy when she inherits an old 50s style motel ... and meets Wil Marshall, the only cowboy who's ever set her hormones into overdrive.
By then you'll be ready for a Damn Good Cowboy Christmas... Liz wants a house with no wheels and a sexy cowboy for Christmas. Will she get both or just one?
How long have you been at work on this book?
I've been working on the whole series a few months.
How did the idea originate?
It just reached into my mind and said, "Write about women who trade their high heels for cowboy boots and the men who caused them to make the change."
Did the book entail any unusual writing habits or places?
Visits to the Red River area to get a feel for the places.aq
